Studio Matthews is a Seattle-based firm founded by director Kristine Matthews. It expands on the leading-edge sustainable ethos and practice of thomas.matthews, an award-winning design studio founded in 1998 by Matthews and partner Sophie Thomas in London, England.

In 2008, Matthews extended her design practice back to her roots in the Pacific Northwest. At the same time she joined the Design faculty at the University of Washington, where her advanced Environmental Design course creates cutting-edge design in 3D spaces.

Studio Matthews works across different media – in space, in print, and on screen – in order to deliver a wide range of projects from exhibitions to installations to innovative pieces of print. The studio believes in a collaborative approach, bringing in the best skills and talents to every project, and working closely with clients to deliver exciting and original results.
