The Jacob Lawrence Gallery welcomed acclaimed curator Scott Lawrimore as its new Director in the summer of 2014. Along with a major physical overhaul, the space was long overdue for a fresh brand. Kristine worked with UW Design senior Kaito Gengo to develop a new logo, typeface, and naming convention (embracing long-loved nickname “The Jake”). Posters advertised the first exhibitions to launch the refreshed gallery: first Industry, then Idleness.
