After 30 years in their original home in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, the Louisiana Children’s Museum expanded to a new indoor/outdoor site in City Park. We were originally brought on to create signage, wayfinding and donor recognition, but this expanded to include a rebrand as the project took shape. We learned from the Museum team how important it is for a child’s development to not just provide them with creative opportunities to draw, paint and create, but also to display and celebrate that work. So it made perfect sense to incorporate children’s drawings—created at Museum workshops—throughout the brand, from the logo to print materials to building displays. Each drawing is credited to the budding artist. To see more of the wayfinding and signage, see here.
